Moving forward, in February 1971, she released a self-titled debut album. Also, she has been involved in songwriting works too. As a background artist, she worked with various artists like Joe Cocker, Dave Mason, Graham Nash, and so on. Rita Coolidge started her career as a background artist in Memphis. Later, she earned a bachelor’s degree from Florida State University. Prior to that, she also attended Maplewood High School. She completed her High School education at Andrew Jackson Senior High in Jacksonville. Priscilla is also a music artist by profession. In 2016, she published her autobiography, Delta Lady: A Memoir. Last, on the 8th of June 2020, Rita released the Rock album, Everybody Loves A Winner.
